AI may spare men painful biopsies in prostate cancer diagnosis

NCT ID NCT07266129

Summary

This study aims to develop a new, non-invasive method to determine how aggressive a prostate cancer is. Researchers will use a special PET scan and artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze tumors in 220 men. The goal is to create a 'virtual biopsy' that could reduce the need for repeated, invasive tissue sampling and improve treatment decisions.
