AI-Powered scans aim to spot prostate cancer better and faster

NCT ID NCT06094322

Summary

This study tested whether new AI-enhanced MRI scans can improve the detection and diagnosis of prostate cancer compared to standard MRI scans. Researchers enrolled 34 men who were scheduled for a prostate MRI to compare the two scanning methods. The goal was to see if the AI scans could find suspicious areas more accurately, improve image quality, and potentially shorten the exam time.
