AI steps into the operating room: predicting the perfect surgical moment for ovarian cancer

NCT ID NCT06839157

Summary

This study aims to build an artificial intelligence (AI) model to help doctors decide the best timing for surgery in advanced ovarian cancer. It analyzes data from over 1,000 patients to understand which patients do better with immediate surgery versus surgery after initial chemotherapy. The goal is to create a tool that can predict which surgical approach is likely to lead to the best long-term survival for each individual patient.
