AI steps in to help doctors spot stomach cancer earlier
NCT ID NCT02968069
Summary
This study aims to create and test a new computer model designed to help doctors identify early stomach cancer during routine camera exams of the stomach (endoscopy). The goal is to improve the accuracy of diagnosis, especially for less experienced doctors or those in smaller community hospitals. Researchers will enroll 300 patients aged 40-80 who are suspected of having a stomach lesion and are already scheduled for an endoscopy.
