AI scans your Cancer's future: new study aims to predict lung tumor behavior from images
NCT ID NCT07449858
Summary
This study aims to use artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze standard PET/CT scan images from 500 past lung cancer patients. The goal is to build computer models that can more accurately determine the cancer's stage and type, predict its genetic profile, and forecast a patient's survival chances. This research looks back at existing patient data to see if AI can help doctors make more precise treatment decisions in the future.
