Summary
This study tested a new leadership and training strategy to help addiction treatment clinics successfully use an artificial intelligence (AI) tool and a specific counseling method called Motivational Interviewing. It involved 479 state officials, agency leaders, and counselors in Oregon and Indiana. The goal was to see if better system-wide leadership could help clinics adopt and keep using these evidence-based practices.
