AI steps in to protect transplanted kidneys

NCT ID NCT05432765

Summary

This pilot study is testing whether a computer system using artificial intelligence (AI) can help doctors find the best doses of anti-rejection drugs for people who have received a kidney transplant. The goal is to protect the new kidney from damage while using the lowest effective drug doses. The study will enroll 34 adult transplant recipients to compare the AI-guided dosing approach to standard doctor-led care.
