First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study aims to see if artificial intelligence (AI) can use patient information—like genetics, behavior, and physical tests—to predict recovery after total knee replacement. Researchers will follow 197 adults with severe knee osteoarthritis for one year after surgery. The goal is to personalize surgical plans and improve outcomes, but this study is focused on gathering knowledge, not testing a new treatment.
