AI camera aims to sharpen skin cancer surgery, reduce steps
NCT ID NCT07358637
Summary
This study is testing a special imaging camera enhanced with artificial intelligence (AI) to see if it can more accurately map the edges of a common skin cancer before surgery. The goal is to help surgeons remove the cancer completely in fewer steps, which could make the procedure faster and less costly. Researchers will enroll 30 adults with a specific type of skin cancer to validate the accuracy of this AI-imaging method.
