AI steps in to spot hidden infections in heart devices
NCT ID NCT07454096
Summary
This study aims to see if artificial intelligence (AI) can improve how doctors read PET scans to diagnose and track infections in implanted heart devices like pacemakers and artificial valves. It will involve 200 people, including those with confirmed infections and a control group with new devices. The research will analyze past and new PET scans using AI to see if it's more accurate than standard methods.
