AI assistant for colon exams could reduce unnecessary testing
NCT ID NCT07362524
Summary
This study is testing whether an artificial intelligence (AI) system can help doctors accurately identify small growths (polyps) in the colon during routine exams. The goal is to see if the AI helps doctors decide which polyps need to be removed and sent to a lab, and which ones are safe to leave alone or discard. This could make the process more efficient and reduce unnecessary lab tests for patients.
