Summary
This study tested whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool could help doctors better diagnose thyroid nodules using a special ultrasound scan. It involved 1,955 people who had the scan and a biopsy to check if their nodule was cancerous. The main goal was to see if the AI could make diagnosis more accurate and reduce the number of biopsies that turn out to be unnecessary.
