Smartwatch AI could spot heart disease before symptoms appear
NCT ID NCT07057466
Summary
This study is testing whether artificial intelligence (AI) can detect hidden heart problems by analyzing routine heart tests called electrocardiograms (ECGs). Researchers will collect ECG data from 590 adults without diagnosed heart disease, using both traditional machines and portable devices like smartwatches. The goal is to see if AI can accurately identify conditions like heart failure, valve problems, and high lung pressure earlier than current methods.
