NCT ID NCT07155434
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether healthcare workers without ultrasound training could use AI software to perform heart scans in people with hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM) who are eligible for mavacamten (Camzyos™). Participants received two heart scans on the same day—one by a non-specialist using the AI guidance and one by a trained sonographer. The goal was to see if the AI-assisted scans were good enough to expand access to heart monitoring.
