Massive 20,000-Patient study tracks if AI heart scans change doctor decisions
NCT ID NCT06376851
Summary
This large registry study aims to understand how a new AI tool that analyzes plaque in heart scans changes the medical management of patients with coronary artery disease. It will follow 20,000 clinically stable patients for up to 5 years, collecting data on their treatments, test results, and health outcomes. The main goal is to see if the AI analysis leads to different treatment decisions compared to standard scan review alone.
