AI heart scan could replace stress tests for chest pain
NCT ID NCT06337461
Summary
This study is testing a new computer model that aims to predict how well blood flows to the heart muscle during stress, using only a standard resting CT scan. It involves 400 patients with chest pain who are already scheduled for a heart CT scan. The goal is to see if this model can provide the same information as a more complex and stressful follow-up test, potentially making diagnosis safer and easier.
