Mayo clinic tests AI to help people hear better in noisy places
NCT ID NCT06743295
Summary
This study is testing whether a new artificial intelligence feature in hearing aids can help people hear and understand speech better, especially in noisy environments. It will involve 500 people with hearing loss, including those who don't use hearing aids, those who do, and people with a cochlear implant in one ear. Researchers will measure improvement by having participants listen to and repeat words and sentences.
