AI and MRI join forces to spare cervical cancer patients from bladder and bowel harm

NCT ID NCT06142760

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new way of giving radiation for cervical cancer. Instead of using the same plan for weeks, an AI adjusts the radiation daily based on the tumor's position, and weekly MRI scans help guide it. The goal is to reduce side effects like bladder and bowel problems. About 40 adults with locally advanced cervical cancer will take part.
