First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study is for people with early-stage liver cancer who are scheduled for surgery. Researchers are using an artificial intelligence tool to analyze each patient's scans and health data to predict their personal risk of the cancer returning. Patients identified as high-risk will receive medication before and after surgery, and their outcomes will be compared to those who have surgery alone. The goal is to see if this personalized approach can better prevent the cancer from coming back within two years.
