AI vs. liver cancer: computer model aims to stop recurrence before it starts
NCT ID NCT07282184
Summary
This study is testing a new approach to prevent early-stage liver cancer from coming back after surgery. An artificial intelligence (AI) model will analyze patient scans and data to predict who is at high risk for recurrence. Those high-risk patients will then receive a personalized drug treatment plan before and after their surgery, which researchers will compare to standard surgery alone to see if it better prevents the cancer's return within two years.
