NCT ID NCT07445711
First seen Mar 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether listening to a guided imagery script or watching an AI-generated video can reduce pain and improve vital signs in new mothers during routine uterus checks after childbirth. About 177 women who had a vaginal delivery with an episiotomy will be randomly assigned to one of three groups: guided imagery via headphones, AI video via VR goggles, or standard care. Pain levels and vital signs will be measured at several time points. The goal is to find a safe, drug-free way to ease discomfort.
