Surgeons in training: video game vs. Old-School box
NCT ID NCT07276022
Summary
This study is testing whether a new AI-powered video game simulator can train doctors in keyhole surgery skills better and faster than the standard training box. 157 medical students and junior doctors are randomly assigned to train with either the game or the box, then their skills are compared. The goal is to find more effective and scalable ways to train the many new surgeons needed worldwide.
