AI steps in to help doctors read ultrasounds
NCT ID NCT04876157
Summary
This study is testing whether artificial intelligence (AI) can help doctors interpret ultrasound images more quickly and accurately. It focuses on two specific conditions: fluid around the heart (pericardial effusion) and a swollen kidney (hydronephrosis). The goal is to create AI tools that could assist less experienced doctors, especially in busy emergency rooms, to make faster and better decisions for patients.
