Video game AI could revolutionize stroke recovery at home

Summary
This study is testing whether adding an artificial intelligence (AI) coach to a home video game therapy system can help people recover arm movement after a stroke. About 192 stroke survivors, at least 6 months after their stroke, will use the system at home for 12 weeks. Researchers will compare recovery between those using the system with the AI coach, those using it without the AI, and those receiving standard care.
