AI steps in to spot silent killer: can a computer catch cancer doctors miss?
NCT ID NCT06643715
Summary
This study is testing an artificial intelligence (AI) tool called PANDA Pro to see if it can help doctors detect pancreatic cancer earlier on standard CT scans. It will involve up to 100,000 patient scans from a major hospital to check if the AI can find cancers that might otherwise be missed and to see if it leads to earlier diagnosis. The goal is to validate the tool for real-world use, potentially improving screening for this hard-to-detect cancer.
