AI steps in to help spot rare baby diseases
NCT ID NCT07368504
Summary
This study aims to test a new computer system that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to read newborn screening blood tests. It will check if the AI is as good as human experts at finding rare inherited metabolic disorders in babies. Researchers will compare the AI's results with standard manual reviews from 200,000 newborns to see if it's more accurate and consistent.
