AI vs. doctors: the race to spot deadly skin cancer

NCT ID NCT06999499

Summary

This study is developing and testing artificial intelligence (AI) software designed to help detect potential melanoma skin cancers. The AI will analyze 3D whole-body scans of 1,000 adults with many moles, looking for suspicious spots. Researchers will compare how well the AI performs against the assessments of three expert dermatologists to see if it can be a reliable tool for early detection.
