AI steps in to read your CT scan, aims to catch cancer staging mistakes
NCT ID NCT07166445
Summary
This study is testing a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool designed to automatically and accurately determine the stage of kidney cancer from a patient's CT scan. It will involve 1,000 people with confirmed kidney cancer to see if the AI can reliably tell if the cancer is at an earlier (T1-T2) or more advanced (T3) stage. The goal is to create a tool that helps doctors plan the best surgery and reduce errors in determining how far the cancer has spread.
