AI vs. doctors: the race to diagnose a leaky heart valve
NCT ID NCT07486271
Summary
This study is testing a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool designed to automatically spot and measure aortic regurgitation, which is a leak in the heart's main valve. It will compare the AI's accuracy and speed against the standard method where doctors manually analyze heart ultrasound images. The goal is to create a more consistent and accessible diagnostic tool, especially for clinics with fewer specialist resources.
