Can a computer understand your stomach pain better than a doctor?

NCT ID NCT05501028

Summary

This study is testing whether artificial intelligence (AI) can help doctors better diagnose functional gastrointestinal disorders (FGIDs), like IBS. Researchers will use AI to analyze recordings of 700 patients describing their symptoms during clinic visits or before an endoscopy. The goal is to see if the AI can identify patterns in how patients talk about their symptoms that might lead to more accurate or earlier diagnoses.
