AI steps in to help doctors pinpoint stomach cancer severity
NCT ID NCT07250347
Summary
This study is testing a new artificial intelligence (AI) system designed to help doctors more accurately detect and determine the stage of stomach cancer from standard CT scans. It will involve 8,000 patients with confirmed stomach cancer who are scheduled for surgery. The main goal is to see if the AI can reliably identify the cancer and correctly classify how advanced it is, which is crucial for planning the right treatment.
