Summary
This study tested an artificial intelligence (AI) system designed to help doctors place stents to drain infected gallbladders in patients who cannot have surgery. 38 adults who needed an endoscopic ultrasound participated. The AI's recommendations were compared to an expert doctor's judgment to see how accurate it was. The goal was to see if the AI could safely guide the procedure.
