AI vs. broken bones: can a computer help doctors see more?

NCT ID NCT07421791

Summary

This study is testing whether a new AI software called RBfracture helps doctors more accurately spot bone fractures, joint dislocations, and fluid buildup on X-ray images. Sixteen clinicians will review X-rays from 415 adult patients, sometimes using the AI for help and sometimes not, to see if the software improves their diagnostic accuracy. The goal is to see if this tool can help doctors miss fewer injuries and make more correct diagnoses.
