AI steps in to speed up lung cancer detection

NCT ID NCT06044454

Summary

This study is testing whether an artificial intelligence (AI) software program can help doctors find lung cancer faster. The software analyzes chest X-rays and flags the ones that look most suspicious, so radiologists can review those urgent cases first. Researchers will measure if this speeds up the time it takes to get a follow-up CT scan and a diagnosis for 60,000 patients in the UK.
