First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study collects videos and images from 1,650 adults having routine upper or lower endoscopy (gastroscopy or colonoscopy) to test how well artificial intelligence can spot early gastrointestinal cancers. The goal is to see if AI can help doctors find and identify suspicious growths more accurately, regardless of the doctor's experience level. Participants simply undergo their scheduled procedure while the AI analyzes the footage in the background.
