Summary
This study tested a new AI system that helps doctors read chest X-rays. 296 patients took part. The AI was designed to make reports faster and more accurate, especially in places with few radiologists. Researchers compared reports written by junior doctors with and without AI help to see if the AI improved quality and agreement with expert readings.
