AI learns from past patients to shape future cervical cancer care
NCT ID NCT05102240
Summary
This study uses data from past cervical cancer patients to develop computer programs (AI) that can help plan future radiation treatments. The goal is to create tools that can automatically outline tumors on scans, better predict which patients might experience side effects, and identify patients who may need more intensive treatment. The research analyzes existing medical images and treatment records from about 1,800 patients to build these predictive models.
