AI steps in to predict dangerous falls for Parkinson's patients
NCT ID NCT07058714
Summary
This study aimed to develop an artificial intelligence (AI) tool to better predict which people with Parkinson's disease are at high risk of falling. Researchers tested 30 participants with Parkinson's using standard balance tests and new 'dual-task' tests that combine walking with a thinking activity. The goal was to see if AI could analyze this data to create a more accurate, remote-friendly tool for doctors to identify fall risk early.
