Scientists test AI to predict falls in elderly

NCT ID NCT06480279

Summary

This study aimed to develop an artificial intelligence (AI) tool to better predict the risk of falling in older adults. Researchers enrolled 150 Thai participants aged 65-80 and measured their brain activity, sensory function, and physical abilities. The goal was to see if combining these measurements with AI could create a more accurate fall risk assessment than current methods.
