AI eye test lets patients check vision at home
NCT ID NCT07255885
Summary
This study tested a new, more affordable eye-tracking device called CRYSTALSIGHT that uses artificial intelligence. It was designed to help patients with macular diseases, like age-related macular degeneration, monitor their vision from home. Researchers compared it to a standard, more expensive eye tracker to see if it worked just as well for detecting changes in vision.
