Scientists use VR headsets to teach AI how healthy eyes see
NCT ID NCT06920290
Summary
This study aims to collect vision data from healthy people to help develop a better eye test for conditions like glaucoma. Researchers will use a virtual reality headset to measure what normal peripheral vision looks like in 100 healthy adults. This data will be used to train an artificial intelligence (AI) system to more accurately spot vision problems in future patients.
