AI eye scanner aims to predict blindness risk
NCT ID NCT07424755
Summary
This study is testing a new artificial intelligence (AI) system designed to help doctors spot and monitor serious eye problems in people with severe nearsightedness (high myopia). The AI will analyze special eye scan images from 1,000 participants to try to identify conditions that can lead to vision loss. The goal is to create a tool that gives earlier warnings, helps predict vision changes, and improves care, especially for people in remote areas.
