Digital Co-Pilot for eye doctors: can AI improve diagnosis?

NCT ID NCT07401459

Summary

This study is testing an artificial intelligence (AI) system called EyeAgent that helps eye doctors analyze patient images and medical history to make diagnoses and treatment plans. The trial will involve 300 patients at clinics in Hong Kong and mainland China, comparing doctors using the AI tool against standard practice. The goal is to see if the AI assistant improves diagnostic accuracy, reduces inappropriate treatment decisions, and makes the workflow more efficient.
