Your phone as a personal trainer for aching knees?

NCT ID NCT07434011

Summary

This study is testing whether a smartphone app that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to guide home exercises works better than standard paper instructions for reducing pain and improving function in people with knee osteoarthritis. About 84 adults with knee pain will be randomly assigned to use either the AI app, which adjusts exercises based on their feedback, or follow a paper handout for 6 weeks. The main goal is to see if the personalized, AI-guided approach leads to greater pain relief and better knee function.
