First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a 4-week AI chatbot program called AI-EGG that teaches emotional skills to young and middle-aged colorectal cancer survivors. The goal is to see if it helps them build resilience and improve quality of life. Fifty-four participants will be randomly assigned to either the chatbot program or standard care, and researchers will measure changes in emotional awareness and well-being.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a new way to help cancer survivors manage emotions and build resilience after treatment.
