AI heart test aims to catch hidden disease sooner
NCT ID NCT05557162
Summary
This study tested whether a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool could help doctors diagnose a serious heart condition called cardiac amyloidosis earlier. The tool analyzes standard electrocardiogram (ECG) heart tests. Researchers compared diagnosis rates between doctors who used the AI tool and those who used standard methods, reviewing over 20,000 patient records.
