AI heart test could spot hidden lung danger
NCT ID NCT06911632
Summary
This study is testing whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool that analyzes a simple heart tracing (ECG) can help doctors find a dangerous condition called pulmonary hypertension in people who already have scarred lungs (ILD). About 1,000 participants will be randomly assigned to either have their ECG results analyzed by the AI tool or receive standard care. The main goal is to see if using the AI tool leads to more people getting the correct diagnosis within six months.
