AI may catch heart attacks that standard tests miss

NCT ID NCT06910436

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at 1,500 adults with suspected acute coronary syndrome but no ST elevation on their ECG. Researchers will test whether an artificial intelligence model can correctly identify those who actually have a blocked artery (occlusion myocardial infarction). They will also measure how the time from diagnosis to treatment affects heart muscle damage. The goal is to see if AI could improve detection and timing of care.
