AI heart test aims to catch hidden stroke risk
NCT ID NCT07173673
Summary
This study is testing whether a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool can help doctors find atrial fibrillation (AFib) sooner in people who have symptoms but haven't been diagnosed yet. About 1,230 adults in Korea will have their standard heart tests analyzed by the AI, which gives a risk score. The goal is to see if using this AI score to guide further testing leads to more AFib diagnoses within six months compared to standard care alone.
