AI reads your Heart's electrical signals to spot hidden valve disease

NCT ID NCT07479992

First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether an artificial intelligence (AI) program can spot aortic stenosis—a narrowing of the heart's main valve—by analyzing a simple electrocardiogram (ECG). Researchers will compare the AI's results with standard diagnosis in 5,000 adults. If successful, this could lead to faster, cheaper screening for a serious heart condition.
