Summary

This study will test whether artificial intelligence (AI) can effectively screen for diabetic retinopathy (eye damage) in 400 children with type 1 diabetes. Participants will have their eyes photographed and the AI's results will be compared to standard exams. The goal is to see if AI screening is a practical, less invasive option for early detection.
